Introduction
Qasmi Tibbi College was established in 2003 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan under the umbrella of the Qasmi Educational Society. The college was founded with a clear purpose — to promote and provide professional education in Unani (Tibb) medicine, a traditional system of natural healing practiced widely in South Asia and based on classical Greco-Arab medical principles.
The founder of the college was Hakim (Naturopath) Muhammad Qasim Siddiqui (late), a respected practitioner and educator in the field of Unani medicine. Under his leadership and vision, the institution was set up to educate and train future hakims (Unani doctors) in a structured and professional academic environment. After his passing, leadership continued under the Qasmi Educational Society, and at present the college administration is led by President Hakim Naseem Ahmed Qasmi with Principal Professor Hakim Shafeeq Ahmed Burq overseeing academic affairs.
